.jpg) The staff of Her Healthcare is honored to be teachers in our industry. Students from both Medical Assistant and Medical Billing degree programs (from participating Schools of Business) rotate through our practice to gain "real world" experience. Nurse Practitioner students learn with our doctors and our Nurse Practitioner, Trish Pinckert. Both Kingwood and Atascocita High School students from the Health Technologies classes rotate with the providers to gain insight into the application of technology to women's health care. College students working in the pre-med degree program intern with us over the summer and nursing program students working on their RN serve with us to gain experience in an Ob/Gyn office practice setting.
We realize hands-on experience is as important as "book learning" in order to deliver exceptional patient care. We also understand our patients' need for privacy and respect your wishes should you prefer not to have students present during your visit. We will ask you in advance if you would allow a student to observe. In keeping with our practice philosophy, we only allow female students from the program(s) to participate. Thank you in advance for helping us educate a new generation of healthcare staff.
